Where the Axe meets the Sea

Today we enjoyed the best weather that we've had since we left home on Thursday.
We had a long walk late morning / early afternoon around some lovely Devon lanes and tracks and bridlepaths with gorgeous wild flowers piled six feet high on either side of us.
Later on we drove down to Axmouth and walked along here to where the river meets the sea. The tide had just turned and comes in really fast at this point.
Hector especially enjoyed peeping over the sea wall at all the water - a bit bigger than our little river at home (see extra).
After this we went to the very pretty little village of Beer for another short walk (see 2nd extra).
