Never trust the Sat Nav...

We have Sat Nav issues, we know we do, and yet we still trust it.

I tried (and succeeded) to do something good today and gave a lot of baby clothes to a local couple who are collecting for clothes parcels they send out to Syria.  They put an advert in the parish newsletter, I had been planning to sell the latest batch of outgrown clothes, but decided that children in Syria probably needed the clothes (and a couple of soft toys) far, far more than the £20 I would have got for them. There was some lovely warm clothes in there, which I really hope will keep a baby nice and toasty.

I convinced the husband that it really wouldn't take very long as it was pretty much in the next village and I could drop him at school afterwards, tiny detour, darling..  This was until the Sat Nav got involved.  First off we had to back up a very small lane to make way for a couple of horses and their quite ungrateful, unsmiling riders (this was not the fault of the sat nav).  Sending us down a road that turned into a river wasn't the finest moment of the sat nav though.  Apparently, we were supposed to carry on driving through it to get to where we needed to be, erm, no... Back up the tiny lane again and finally, couple of phone calls and we made  it to our destination.

So, another day, another apology, today to the husband for taking about an hour out of his morning and causing a few more grey hairs trying to find where we needed to be.

The day has been far less eventful after that, which is probably a good thing.
