Jet my parents dog who is Rusty and Pips brother is a pet and not a working collie but he still has that work instinct in him and always stalks sheep when he sees them but won't chase them. I took him out with me when we gathered in one of our hills this morning. He was very good and enjoyed a bit of sheep stalking!! We then wormed all the sheep and have taken off all the hoggs (last year's lambs) and Wethers ( castrated males) and ewes who didn't lamb and put them in a field close to home ready to clip them when the weather is right.
