This notice in Rose Street confuses me...one would expect police regulations to be enforced everywhere. It's on the corner of a narrow lane: is it a warning to the public that they can't carry out illegal shenanigans in dark corners? Or an instruction to the police to enforce their regulations? Or a quality assurance notice regarding the drainpipe?
