Favourite leaf...

in my garden.  The flowers are rather plain...sort of little trumpet like white things but against these leaves they are rather insipid.  These leaves are this colour all year round but the lovely evening light picks up the colours beautifully.  

Wednesday has been and gone.  Am on track to achieve the goal for the day of getting papers together for the principal to sign off for me.  Put together a Matariki display for the library and worked with our cultural head student to arrange a quick quiz with a prize of a biscuit if they get the question right.  (Homemade gingernuts with icing shaped like a moon.)
