City of Contrast

Annie worked from home today before setting off this evening to Edinburgh where she will work the rest of this week. To London for me (Chris).

Another sombre day for London with awful news and images this morning of the burning tower block in North Kensington. I (Chris) could see the tower and smoke in the distance from my early train commute into Marylebone this morning. Thoughts go out to all those impacted by this disaster. An amazing responses once again from our emergency services and from the public.

It was an otherwise beautiful day in the city, what a contrast to the scene not many miles away.
