A strange day

Today has been very strange.   We awoke this morning to news of the awful fire in London.  It was raining here, but when it eased off we went out. The aim was to walk to a stall discovered by hubby, that sells hands of bananas.   The lady was not there.  We were informed by another lady that the banana stall was not there as the owner had suffered a miscarriage she would however be back by next week.  It just amazed me that someone could go through such trauma and be back to work a week or two later.   I also realised how tenuous a hold we have on life.  Live life to the full with no  regrets. 

My shot was taken at our favourite Indian Restaurant later, they are in fact moving to new premises, with indoor seating and a larger kitchen.  The lonely guy sitting at the back was waiting for a friend to arrive,  she was late.
