Abstract Acer

After a somewhat up and down morning on the golf course ( I plonked the ball down in a couple of bunkers and took far too many shots to get it up and out of them again!), this afternoon we bought a pot for the NEW acer Tess's brother bought us when he visited last weekend.

Thought it made a suitable case for treatment for this week's Abstract Thursday "new" challenge, hosted by Ingeborg.

Our friend Tony, who's a bit of a handyman, very kindly came over this evening to look at the damage from yesterday's DIY shenanigans. He seems to think it's salvageable so tomorrow I'll be playing carpenter's mate while he tries to remedy the situation.
