Upstairs - the work area - the home office - the atelier - is done. I will buy turquoise doggy covers to match the other curtains, if I can find one. But otherwise it's done. Lots of open space. Lots of windows. Perfect! Behind the mirror is small clothes rack which I use to store girl's dresses. You can check it out better here.

We have our third IKEA delivery tomorrow evening, so all the rest of the areas are still waiting for something. The electrician could not hang two lamps. One, because it's so high up. The second, because the mirror was not attached to the wall. So...

Our bed is still missing the support for the mattresses, so we'll spend another night on the floor.

We have light in the bathroom. Two previous nights we took showers with Christmas lights. The first night we didn't have any hot water. Last weekend there was no electricity. So the house we bought "ready made" last Friday, is slowly getting ready.

Yesterday we had a fun episode when the working men came upstairs to install some silicone to the door. Coming down the one of the stairs came off. Literally just broke down from the root. In 20 minutes there were welders putting stairs back on. I was a bit worried about the stairs before, imagine how I feel now.

Anyway. There's been incidents and accidents along the way. Mostly everything has been sorted out.

Like we were told that we have fibre internet to this house. We asked about that in every turn. "Yes yes, everything is ready." When the internet people came to the house, there was no cable yet. Luckily they hooked us up on other way, but first they said that no internet was possible. Imagine our sweat at that point! Anyway. After asking about the fibre again the builder said that it will take about 3-4 months to get it down on the ground. If we have it before Christmas I'm surprised.

And about sweating... It's been 30°C in shadows all week long. Even now it's 26°C outside. We've been sweating with huge S. The first night when there was no warm water I was able to wash my hair and it didn't matter. I was so hot.

Now off to bed. It's been so looooong days. But still it's fun to do. You can see the progress in everything you do. That is satisfying.
