Still hot

It's been a quiet day. Too hot to do much, though we did try go for our usual run in the morning. Seemed more humid today and we both felt the relief every time we found shade (under the motorway over-bridges was best). We have given up on taking Zoe with us, it is too much like hard work keeping her under control.

Enjoyed this evening out on the back deck as the day cooled off. A rather poor, (very) low-light phone image looking up through the tight gap between the walls of the new apartments that are beginning to surround K's rental property. Interesting clouds and an aircraft heading for the airport.

I'm fascinated by the fire-flies that come out in the evenings, nothing like our glow-worms really, these are much bigger and glow intermittently and very brightly as they fly around at dusk.
