The finished cake

Finished off this cake today and I actually delivered it to the birthday boy, who is a young friend of mine. I was coming into town anyway, so saved his mum the trip!

Really pleased with this. I wasn't sure how the green would turn out, but it's fine and he was really happy, I think.

Had a lovely meal (for free) at an Alain Ducasse restaurant at the InterContinental this evening. We were cash auditing on behalf of the FD! It was rather lovely.

Been a full on day, I shall enjoy my sleep tonight.
