Violin camp

The yearly violin camp started today. We borrowed a tent from Martine's sister. This had never been out of its bag but we managed to put it up quite nicely as you can see. At the end of the day Ellis did not want to sleep there so I returned to pick her up.

This all took place after a normal office day. And between putting up the tent and driving back, I drove Nienke to her field hockey practice. After that I had a meeting with our neighbors to discuss the plans for strengthening our homes because of the earthquakes in Groningen. And now we're on the subject of gas extraction and the problems this is causing: this article on the website of The Guardian is a good read. It also mentions the earthquakes the people here in Groningen are dealing with.
