Rocket Science

I was going to blip a derelict building but, although this isn't the best shot, I've changed my mind after attending a very interesting talk this evening by the astronomer Fred Watson.

The Rotary club arranged it as a fundraiser for their rocket project.
Held in the local school hall there were a few kids along asking some smart questions.

I was expecting a dry lecture on stars but it was extremely entertaining.

As an example of his sense of humour he says on his website that "he spent so many years working in large telescopic domes that he has started to look like one".
And one of his books is titled "Why is Uranus Upside Down? and Other Questions About the Universe".
Enough said.
