Wolf Slide (and a tandem)

Parks in our house tend to be known by things other than their real names. Harston Rec will probably always be 'New Park' and Coleridge Rec is Wolf Slide Park - though on closer inspection he appears to have scales so may actually be a dragon.

Wolf Slide Park also has a splash pad and paddling pool so unsurprisingly given today is scorching it was very busy. I think I was the only grown up who had brought their cossie :) Matthew and I had lots of fun splashing though.

The reason we had gone so far in such weather was to take the box bike for a service nearby (33.50 including new pedals) and to test ride some tandems. Only they are currently out of stock of the Circe Helios so we just took the Onderwater out for a spin. It's built on a similar idea to the box bike but with a saddle, handlebars, pedals and Bell where the box would be. I had one go round the yard solo and one with Matthew aboard and then we took it off to the park :) Three short rides in the end and Matthew loves it - they're going to let us know when they get the Helios in though so we can go back and do a proper comparison!
