My Photo Journal Journey

We were up relatively early for a Saturday as we were off to Field Days.  It was quite nice in Thames but as we got out of Thames the fog was down, light to start with then got heavier the closer we got to Hamilton, where the Field Days were held.  As we approached the outskirts of Hamilton the fog lifted and blue skies and no wind.  We had VIP passes from the my car dealer (VW) which entitled us to free entry, and a free VW cap as well as much coffee and soup we wanted during the day.

Although we weren't interested in the farming 'stuff' they had on offer there was plenty of other things for us to see and do.  We came home with some lovely Black Doris Plum port and some NZ whiskey and gin.  The day was worthwhile!

The photo was taken as we were leaving (4.30 pm) of the VW balloon which was our trademark so we knew where we were in the grounds.  All I have done is crop the photo a little.

PS the photo was taken with my phone.
