New neighbours

The pond was heaving today.

Easily over 20 damsel flies getting jiggy with it, and there is a load of pond skaters.

Will be interesting to see how many of the damsel fly larvae actually survive; but as we have the 2 ponds now, and this one is completely free of fish there is hope.

Not sure if the frogs will eat them, but I am hoping they'll start eating the slugs - otherwise they'll get evicted.
