Sculptured Stones

Out and about this Sunday morning, stopped for egg roll and latte. (Still on diet honest)

These stones were worked by the Picts between 700 - 1000 AD.

It shows a Celtic-type cross flanked by angels with some beasts at the bottom. The back of the stone was more impressive but I had a car in the shot so discarded it.
