Hankie Tree

Not something I've ever looked at closely before, but this "handkerchief tree" has the most unusual flowers. To my uneducated eye the petals look like leaves, only white. They're quite large - they've been falling off and under the tree it looks like someone has scattered sheets of paper on the ground!
