Coach Road

A shady walk would be welcome on a day like today, it has been a real scorcher. This inviting track called The Coach Road runs through the middle of Normous' golf course and is an ancient route between Brockham and Dorking.
I stopped off and walked a little way to get my blip, after I had dropped N off at the club for his Sunday morning bridge session. Then I went back later and we enjoyed the carvery lunch.
Back home we both flaked out. It was far too hot to do anything useful until early evening.
We were pleased to get a Fathers' Day phone call from Jeremy who flew to Singapore last night and had arrived safely.
