Far too hot and humid to venture out anywhere, except for a brief trip to the local supermarket for a few essential groceries. I do worry about Mum in this heat, as I know older people's bodies don't deal with extremes of temperature very well.

The garden smelled divine in the evening, a combination of the honeysuckle and the jasmine, which is just starting to blossom. Wonderful to hear bees lazily buzzing around the flowers in the still air too.
