Our trip to Yorkshire's East Coast...

.. started early this morning, so that we succeeded in avoiding heavy traffic. We hoped to do the same for our return journey but hit horrendous delays, more than doubling the journey time. The weather had brought people out in droves.

The trip was worth it for the spectacular colours, as in this shot of the splendid sea stack at Flamborough Head. The extra shot is from the same spot looking in a more northerly direction. I felt I needed to tone down the blues in the sea which were unbelievably vibrant.
