The Patient

Bella is very subdued after yet another visit to the veterinary clinic.  We were there last week after the bacterial/fungal infection in her paws flared up  and when the vet checked her over she found Bella had a broken tooth as well as sore feet. I had a phonecall in the afternoon to say that she was ready to go home minus not one but three teeth - two more teeth were very loose and had to be extracted.  She has a week's supply of painkillers for her mouth and a course of steroids to fix the paws. I'm hoping she has a good sleep and feels like eating tomorrow.
