The back office

Behind the DJ there is a team working to help him, editing clips of interviews to play on the news, traffic and weather reports, queuing articles to be discussed, looking after the people coming in to be interviewed etc.
It's good to see it all in action as it is behind me when I'm in the studio with Mark Cummings, the BBC Radio Gloucestershire breakfast show presenter.
I was there to update them on Ian's progress since the transplant last October, my ride next weekend for the RBLR1000, and also to chip in when I get the nod to talk about things in the news and, this morning, what happened on fathers day.
I do enjoy doing this now and then, and they are a great team.
