Sunday: Pink Champagne

Warm and sunny day, spent mostly outdoors just sitting and enjoying the garden.
The black-leaved elderflower bush is full of beautiful pink blossom (see extra photo). I picked 7 flower heads and made some elderflower champagne using same recipe as last year - https://giy.ie/get-growing/recipes/recipe-of-the-week-elderflower-cordial-and-champagne.html - it smells delicious and will be bottled tomorrow. Last year I used the normal cream coloured flowers, it will be interesting to see how this compares.
