ONE FOR POPPY

I inherited this wee jewel from my mother - it's a folder with four "flannel" pages inside (do they still make flannel?) - she kept her favourite needles  in it.

She made practically all my clothes when I was little & when I went to sea in the Merchant Navy she sent me off with a sewing kit which was calico with fancy binding, provided with cotton reels, darning wool, needles, a thimble, buttons &c...

She was magic!
