Malta's smaller neighbouring island Gozo.

Malta has a total of 365 churches and cathedrals on the island, but Gozo, which is smaller has far fewer.

The most impressive one is the Church of Ta' Pino, shown in the main and extra photos. Additional work is currently in progress in the grounds, showing various biblical scenes constructed of 1,000's of  pieces of mosaic. This project is being undertake by skilled craftsmen from countries across the world and will be completed before the end of 2017.
