No Hurry for Murray

Went through to Dunblane today to see Andy Murray's welcome home parade.

Before he arrived it chucked it down, but we had a huge umbrella and some M&S sandwiches so we were alright. Then minutes before Andy arrived the rain stopped and the sun did it's best to come through the clouds.

Andy was fantastic and spent ages shaking hands, signing anything anyone wanted signing and having his pictures taken.

I liked this one of a kid sticking his tennis racket under Andy's nose to sign. Afew minutes later he signed a tennis ball and a baseball cap for my son Connor, who was thrilled.

All in all a great day, rounded off by a pot of Suki tea at Dobbie's Garden Centre and a huge fresh cream scone (and a pot of olives for later).
