Kept an eye on Matt while he was doing his homework this evening - a poster to encourage tourists to visit Scotland. Took him a while to get into it, but once he got started, there was no stopping him!

I read today that there's been a stampede to buy incandescent lightbulbs, as people have cottoned on to the fact that shops will soon stop selling them.

This gave me an idea: if we can get the EU to announce an imminent ban on the sale of cars, furniture, conservatories and houses, maybe we could panic-buy our way out of the recession.

Thinking about it, if they'd banned the sale of Pick'n'Mix, we might have been able to save Woolies...
