In the steps of Rebus

I'm up in Edinburgh for work and, as luck would have it, my hotel is about a three minute walk away from the Oxford Bar in Young Street, the favourite watering hole of Ian Rankin's DI John Rebus. As a massive fan of the Rebus novels, it was a great thrill to sup a pint in the very basic bar (with a simple back room) that is exactly as I had imagined it from its depiction in the books.
