Life's Journey

Tarbert Harbour, Late Evening

Arran - Fort William Day 1
Brodick - Tarbert

Cycled: today 52.8km, total 52.8km
Climbed: today 777m, total 777m

Highlight: stunning weather, mid-20s and a nearly cloudless sky all day. Nowhere better when the sun shines.

Lowlight: well the hill coming out of Sannox, north-east Arran was a heart-stopper!

What else? The song 'Mull of Kintyre', my current location, was recorded 40 years ago. With more than 2 million sold, it remains the UK's biggest selling non-charity single, only bring outsold by Band Aid's 1986 "Do they know it's Christmas?' Paul McCartney bought a farm in the area in 1966, which he apparently still owns.
