World's largest flower (bud)

Up to Kew Gardens for the launch of my daughter's new book Get Plants
It was fun to meet up with family and friends and there was another book about the English Oak which was being launched too. Ever practical Katie said it will be discounted at Amazon very soon but I am expecting a signed copy for having made the effort to drive up there!  We arrived early so were lucky to be able to wander around as Katie pointed out various plants and trees that she grew from seed and planted there a few years ago.  This flower bud will grow lots more before bursting into flower, for one night only. It sports the most suitable name of Amorphophallus Tinanum and comes from Sumatra.  I believe you can go onto the Kew website and find out when it will flower and book to go in and view it out of hours.
