The predator

Last Wednesday, I blipped a photo of a frog and included a poem about a rather arrogant puddock getting his come-uppance.
What should I see today when walking the dogs at Strichen Lake?
A heron of course.
( I have mentioned the difficulties before of trying to take a photo when holding two dogs on their leads and also a bag and so it was today!!)
P.S. Raining and not too warm up here. If they mention a heatwave on the news, I think I will take off my woolly gloves and hat and throw them at the screen!!!!
