Birmingham city centre from the Lickey Hills

I took a lunchtime walk on the Lickey Hills today, but didn't find much of interest to photograph. I find the late summer the least interesting time of year for the woods. Most of the wild flowers have died down, and the tree foliage is looking tired but does not yet show any attractive autumn colours. Hopefully it will be looking lovely in a few week's time when the autumn sets in.

For my blip I have chosen this view looking towards Birmingham city centre. The sun shining on the high-rise buildings adds some interest, and the zoom lens makes it look a lot closer than the eight miles it really is.
