Long Way Home

We woke up on the tiny Hebridean island of Barra and tomorrow morning we shall wake up at home having driven the whole way in one go. About 16 hours door to door including five hours on a ferry.
When we got to the mainland we had intended to have another night in Scotland but the low cloud , mist  and pouring rain were a bit discouraging , so with a quick call in at Lancaster for a bite to eat and a Lucie cuddle we are now home. 
What a wonderful trip despite the weather!
I shall miss waking up to the sound of the sea !
