Reading the Signs II

The sign that warns of slips and bends
is looking rather frisky.
Been on a bender itself, perhaps,
knocking back the whisky.

It's clearly sliding sideways
and looks a little queer.
Has it downed a chaser
after several pints of beer?

It doesn't take a driver,
a policeman or a shrink
to notice when a road sign
is a little worse for drink.
