Eleven days ago I posted elsewhere a photo of Mr and Mrs Swan and their 5 cygnets during some stormy weather on Windermere. I'm pleased to say that they are all doing very well and were enjoying this afternoon's sunshine. Photo taken from the edge of the jetty before they swam underneath it. 

Earlier I saw an Osprey overhead. Not the bird ......... it was Boeing's tilt rotor aircraft which flies like a plane but lands and takes off like a helicopter. Hadn't a clue what it was at the time but the internet provided a lookalike to my photo.
