Met Ma at Southampton and we caught the ferry together over to Cowes.

Picnic in the park, then the bus to Ryde. We dropped off our stuff at our beaaautiful airbnb (sea views from the bedrooms!), got some groceries before the shops shut, then went down to spend the evening on the beach.

A couple of dips in the sea, then an obligatory ice cream, then an also obligatory trip to the fish and chip shop.
