Graduation Day

When you see a crowd of people lining the road just outside St Salvators Chapel in St Andrews you know something is about to happen.

It was such a shame that it was raining when the students who had just been awarded their degrees walked down North Street from The Younger Hall to St Salvators .... a St Andrews University tradition.
The red hoods signified a history or art history degree. The blue gowns were worn by the post graduate students who had been awarded a PhD in some aspect of history.

Togbe was in his element when I took him down to the beach this afternoon. Not too easy to see him when he's digging in the soft sand!
