Blipping Forty

Vintage caravan

This afternoon we popped over to Wallington, a very lovely National Trust property with beautiful grounds and gardens a short drive from home. We walked through the woods and along the riverside and of course enjoyed some obligatory tea and cake.  While on our walk we collected elderflower sprays (see extras) and on arriving home  began to make Elderflower 'champagne', my first attempt so I am excited to see how it will turn out! As it is made with flowers rather than fruit the fermentation stage is fairly short so we don't need to wait long to try it!

The village midsummer fayre took place this evening and was well supported.  The caravan in my blip was situated outside the frequently blipped vintage shop and was serving cream teas.
