Iona

Set off early today to travel the two hours down to Iona - most of the roads are single track with passing places so we took our time. The ferry was being refuelled at Ffionport  so we had plenty of time to enjoy that rarity - the sun!!
We had lunch at the hotel in the gardens with their fantastic views - I really love it here. We took the bikes across so were able to cycle around down to one of the most beautiful of beaches. The quality of the light is so special and none of it is enhanced in the photos.
