Water

We have lived here for 25 years, and our water supply is from a spring some half mile away. There is no map of the water pipeline route to our house, and we always assumed it came down the drive to the house.
But the builders were digging away behind the barn and suddenly found..... water! A rusty old pipe was gushing forth and they soon realised what they had found. They somehow managed to connect some alkathene pipe to it as a temporary fix, and today we were transferred to our new supply line, alkathene all the way. The water pressure is amazing ! It spurts from the tap and the cistern fills in seconds! I suppose that's normal for most people, but we are used to a gentler flow.
Looking inside the old pipe where it is cut through I saw that the inside looks in the same condition as the outside.....it is around 100 years old and therefore a genuine antique - any bids?
