Water Power

For hundreds or maybe even thousands of years, there has been a waterfall just near the summer house. The tiny village where we live was founded over 200 years ago because of it, and since then, a paper factory, an iron works factory, several mills and more have used the waterfalls for power. Up until nearly eighty years ago, when a small water power station and a huge dam replaced the waterfall.

Mum says yes, water power is good, but a pity that we don't have the waterfall any more. Sometimes, they open an extra floodgate. Almost like a waterfall.
