Gooseberries?...No!

This is a cluster of eggs left by a Buff Ermine moth (see extra photo) the other day in my moth trap. They are now in a container with some of the required foodplant (honeysuckle, nettle) as some look to be close to having larvae hatching. It's wonderful exploring the full life cycle of some adult insects we are very familiar with.
