Poppy

We've driven upto Middleton in Teesdale, in the North Pennines, for a weekend celebrating Chris & George's 30th wedding anniversary, along with Amy & Ollie and Jonathan & Peter, who've flown in from France. It was a lousy journey but thankfully we arrived in time to eat a really good pie at the Strathmore Arms. The exterior of the pub is very pretty and quite blippable but this poppy from along the lane at home won on flower Friday.
