Indoor skiers

The boys  have been taken skiing by their other grandparents on a number of occasions. The last time they went, GM was concerned they were "rusty" after a year's gap, during which Mr H had cut a tendon and nerve in his foot. So today she took them to Snow Planet, an indoor ski slope with real snow, here in Auckland. They had great fun. As did all the grandparents, as it was a family occasion.

We were watching from inside the cafe separated by thick glass from the sub-zero temperature on the other side. The boys were hard to recognise at a distance, so they were offered colourful "hats" to go over their helmets. Young L happily accepted; his teenage older brother declined. It made Young L very easy to identify at a distance!
