Life with The Pinks

What a fab day. We've been very busy.

Sunflower morning this morning and remember this?. Well Master Pink won first prize for the widest sunflower face. Miss Pink also came first in the "too young for school" category for cake decorating. It was all very exciting. The mini pinks came home with Pride the Lion and a mini wenlock, as well as their certificates.

We met up with Grandma during the morning, and she took the mini pinks off to hers for a sleepover. Mr Pink is away for work, and I had a day planned with my girlfriends from church. Another celebration for Lynette's 50th birthday.
We went to the Woddbridge Riverside Theatre to watch Anna Karenina. It's a beautiful film, gorgeous colours and costumes, and an interesting way of filming.
After the film some of us went for a short walk along the river, which is where we met these lovely chaps. they are there for a reenactment weekend, and were willing us to take the King's shilling and join up!! I'll settle for watching at the moment. They were lovely chaps though - you can find out more about them here.
After our little jaunt with the soldiers we joined up with the others for our dinner in the restaurant adjoining the cinema. The food was fantastic, and the company fabulous.
