Walking day!!

Little Missy went to bed with no problems and slept like a log! After breakfast she helped me clean our bedroom: polishing the mirror etc. while Ro sorted out a change of password on the wifi system! A large snack before going to her ballet class at 12.15!

The rest of the day started with Ro breaking the bread-bin lid in a spectacular manner!  LM was very impressed!  Originally the BB had been bought in a charity shop in Chorley so having dropped off LM with her other grandparents we went there and were amazed to see people lining the streets!  I asked a lady who was standing there: it was the 'Walking Day' involving schools, churches, military, scouts and guides!  There were lots of very little children in their white dresses holding onto ropes with an adult each side !  A lovely sight!   My blip is taken when the adults marched behind!  There were two brass bands wonderful music!

We finally made it to lunch at around 3pm at the 'The old Stables Vintage Teashop'  A wonderful place with excellent food and ambiance!  After that a stroll round the charity shops where we found a bread bin!  (and a 2 volume tome on Salvador Dali!)  Then home via Tesco's!
