Not Stonehenge!

We were cycling to Portishead from Bristol this morning and we saw this very recent Piece of art by artist Michael Dan Archer named the Seafarers Sculture. It comprises 108 granite columns of various heights on top of a large earthworks and designed to look like a wave from land or sea. You can walk through it to a contemplation seat at its summit and if you do, you will see text relating to the seafaring history of this little port town on the columns. And was I impressed? Yes, I really was. I wish I'd taken a better picture of it!
