Droopy

We had strong winds during the day although for most of it sunny and dry. This foxglove was left looking very droopy. It's a self seeded plant in one of my pots in front of the kitchen window. It's been great to see the bees popping in and out , t's surprising how long they can stay in one flower.
I was out for a lovely meal at The Station Hotel in Avoch this evening to celebrate the hard work of three ladies from Girl Guiding , who after 9 years volunteering as the Guide leaders in Avoch are now taking on other roles and finishing their time in Fortrose Guides. I met the new lady who will be taking over with help from Julie and sounds like they have some wonderful things already planned.
We went back to Yvonne's for tea, cake and chat. The Guide leaders had all made delicious cakes for a challenge badge.
