Catching the Cruz

A little journey out to Shore Acres after Church today, and we caught up with the Cruz the Coos cars, all sparkly in the sunshine! Even though the plate on this beauty says Evil, Wicked, Mean and Nasty...the owner was anything but that! This car does wheelies! Forgive me for being naive...you probably already could tell that, but I haven't spent too much time with car enthusiasts. I'm terrible, I didn't pay attention to the year or model or anything! I just like them because they're shiny and pretty!

So, this is grammapat wandering about. She actually posed with a roadster (not this car, another) that was made the same year she was born, but the angle of the light wasn't right, so I chose this. She was quite satisfied in demonstrating that there were actual automobiles when she was born...as we have always heard dad say that the guy who taught her to drive had a pretty smart horse! Shame on him!

Catnip Sanctuary & Pepsi update:
We delivered a few supplies to the Sanctuary where Mother Comfort's cat, Pepsi, now resides this afternoon. Pepsi has some dental needs, and began to give evidence of an infection in her mouth, so she got to feeling poorly enough that her new "mum" was able to pick her up last week and take her to the vet. This was a blessing in disguise as she had gotten fairly aggressive. Now she knew she needed help, and she accepted it! With antibiotics on board, and a vitamin boost, she is more perky, but the best part is that she has decided to join the other cats, she no longer has to be confined and she is accepting the Catnip Sanctuary as her home, and the owner as her very own human!

How did she feel about our visit? She hid, of course! We are not her favorite humans. We accept that and are glad she has decided to make a home of her new home!
